NBA 2K24 How to Get More Contact Dunks: Best Dunk Ratings fo Video

what is good everybody and welcome to the NBA 2K lab Channel my name is Spill and in this video we're going to be looking at three different contact dunk ratings and their effectiveness more specifically we'll be looking at their make percentage on late Closeouts and how often they get taken out of dunk animations this will be a quick video so don't forget to subscribe if you enjoy the content and let's get right into [Music] it dunking in NBA 2k 24 is a touchy sub as the dunk meter was just introduced not too long ago in NBA 2k 22 now the dunk meter can be pretty finicky at times as it can occasionally take you out of animations and even perfectly timed dunks can pop out of the rim so we wanted to test the make percentage of different contact dunk ratings against L Closeouts and we also did another test to show how often players at different dunk ratings got taken out of their animations and the results say a lot this test was not as easy as our shooting test as dunking has a lot more variables in play but nonetheless we have a dunking script for our modded controller so all of these dunks took off from the same place so the results will still be very accurate now the three most popular contact dunk ratings people are going with are 87 for the pro contact dunks off 2 feet and 89 driving dunk for pro contacts off one and then at a 94 driving dunk you get Elite contacts off two for each of these ratings we gave the player the necessary Badges and animations during the test starting with the make percentage on late Closeouts with an 87 driving dunk and the make percentage sits at about 67 1.2% which is only 2% less than an 89 rating for the pro contacts off one that's not to say these ratings aren't effective as you can still get massive meters on a wide open dunk but with a 30% chance or more of missing it you have to be a little bit more selective when trying to use the meter as we get to a 94 rating though you can see the make percentage jump to nearly 80% allowing you to be more aggressive when attacking the lane the 94 driving dunk re Supreme among these three ratings in this scenario now for the next part of this test we wanted to see how many times out of 200 attempts that the dunker would get taken out of the animation at each rating during a big green window dunk and once again 94 driving dunk looks great as there was only a 15% chance to get taken out of a dunk meter as opposed to an 87 driving dunk rating which shows about one out of four dunks will most likely be compromised then the pro contacts off one at an 89 driving dunk rating is right in between the two and offers a slight balance so all in all the 94 driving dunk rating for elite contacts off two offers the best chance to get a contact dunk without being interrupted the 87 and 89 driving dunk ratings can still work really well due to the dunk meter logic but the RNG shows you might get pulled out of these animations more frequently even with a well-timed dunk now that is all we got for this driving dunk test I hope you guys found this video informative and if did a simple like goes a long way thank you all for watching it's been spill and I'm out later
