hey everyone this is Sam and welcome to 2K lab today we're going to talk about some shooting Secrets as we're going to focus on shot timing change we're going to give you detail stats by the percentage on different shooting situations that you're bound to go through during game playay be it on shot Creations or catch and shoots and things of that nature and if you would like to see more of these timing stats on dribble pull-ups and more animations just add a like to this video and we'll get to producing those for you guys and for more analytics on badges jump shots and even tools to help you make your my player builds make sure to come to NBA 2K la.com or yearl so as the base for this test we use this jumper and its earliest green is at 561 milliseconds so the shot timing change percentages you're about to see use this earlier screen timing as the Baseline so shooting from Limitless will give you a 0% change and at the same time shooting with no adrenaline bars is also a 0% change a normal catch and shoot won't give you any shot timing changes however if you catch the ball high like this it's going to make your shot 2.2% faster and having your shot contested will make it 6.5% faster and if you have low stamina it will be 7.4% slower so sh timing variability is definitely in 2K 24 and if you take these numbers and compare it to last year in 2K 23 you can tell variability exists in both but 2K 23 was more serious especially for low stamina shots and for our shot creators out there here are the shot timing changes for a lot of the different moving shots that are in the game and obviously the percentage here can change based on animations but you can look at these numbers and get a basic understanding of just exactly how much by percentage wise each of these different kind of moving shots can change and if these are your go-to kind of shots a lot of practice is definitely necessary as the shot timing changes here can be pretty significant across the board so please feel free to let us know in the comment section how you feel about these numbers and do you like this mechanic in the game coming back again this year because as we know a lot of players were frustrated by this as it was a very new mechanic from the year before but now this is kind of our second year at it let us know how you feel about it and as always thank you for coming by make sure to check out nba2k.com for more more info and I look forward to speak to you guys again very soon
