NBA 2K25 Dribbling Tutorial: Early Gameplay Dribble Moves Br Video

what's up everybody this is Koza and welcome back to the 2K lab channel in today's video we'll be breaking down five big things in the new dribble engine coming to NBA 2k2 disclaimer 2K is making changes to the game before official launch so be on the lookout for updated videos on this channel going into 2k2 number one a lot of the snatchback have been reworked for the better you perform the snatchback in the same way you did as 24 but these new animations put you in a shooting motion just allows a player to get a smoother gather and a faster shot after performing a snatchback with certain animations this shooting off the snatchback field a lot smoother and canceling out of them even more effective you can also combo these with a hop jumper as I'm sure you guys will find your favorite snatch back in the Hop jumper combos when the game releases number two go-to shots can be canceled into a burst you do this by running out of the move before your player touches the ball with both hands furthermore the players that didn't get a go-to shot have their go-to shot set as their aggressive breakdown combo you just shoot in the middle of the aggressive breakdown combo animation for instance Kobe Bryant I imagine didn't get a new go-to shot so his go shot is just his aggressive breakdown animation with just a shot at the end of we also seen that John morance go-to shot was just his combo moves into a shot this is crucial to know because you can use his combo moves and shoot off of it and still have a different animation equipped for your go-to shot so it'll be like you have two go-to shots equipped on your my player when we test more dribble moves and go-to shots we can dive a little deeper into this number three speed with ball and ball handle is a lot more important 2K devs have stated that both of these attributes tie into your speed boost we notice different players look to have the the same dribble burst animation but they bursted at different speeds unlike in 24 if somebody had a 40 speed ball and pro dribble Style on they would burst very similar to someone with a pro dribble style and a higher acceleration and spe ball in conclusion it looks like spew of ball is a lot more important and we will test this more as soon as we G people at Community Day had trouble speed boosting so don't be discouraged if you have the same experience you have to perform a move before trying to burst and the big thing that's different is you have to wait for the animation to play out before trying to run out of the move for example a size up cross you would just have to wait before trying to burst out of it escapes can be weighted out some dribble Styles allowed you to cross launch with no inputs including Devon Booker Kobe Bryant and Tyrese Hal but other NBA players we had to perform a move before trying to speed boost in any way number five arguably the biggest thing that people are talking about is not being able to dribble into Defenders this year we talked about this vaguely in our last video early on I found myself getting fumble animations and turnovers due to bad habits built from previous 2K you can dribble near a Defender just not into their body this may impact the effectiveness of 5 out due to harassing lockdowns pressuring into the ball handler but we will have to see when the full game comes out so just take note of this and be careful with The Rock in conclusion we honestly can't say how the game will play out when the community plays online and we all figure things out collectively but we hope to set you guys on the right track with things to expect early in your experiences on 2k2 so if you enjoy short information packed content like this be sure to like And subscribe to the channel and check out our website for more useful information as always it's it's been KOA and I'll catch you on the next one
