How to Shoot on NBA 2K25 Mini Marksman Shooting Badge Video

what is good everybody and welcome to the NBA 2K lab Channel my name is Spill and in this video we'll be going over the Boost to receive for each level of the mini Marksman badge this badge is only available to players 63 and below and it has a significant effect when shooting over taller players especially at the higher badge levels but not only does this badge work against taller players but it works better the taller your Defender is and we'll get into the exact differences in just a second but before we get into the video just a reminder you can check out all of the badges we've tested so far for free at nba2k.com so definitely check check that out if you're interested now mini Marksman is similar to the mismatch expert badge from NBA 2K 23 this badge is crucial for smaller guards especially 3point Hunters to be able to shoot over taller Defenders effectively and with confidence as I mentioned in the intro the taller the defender is the bigger the Boost will get and we're going to start here at a 4-in difference this is the range where the badge will start to activate we took over 22,000 shots for this test all at a 92 3point rating and here's the results in this open to light pressure scenario a 4-in height difference at 585 milliseconds sees a decent make percentage boost of 7% when compared to no badge but even with that 7% boost you're still only hitting at a 43% clip with a perfectly timed shot now the silver level is only 2% better at this timing and these lower badge levels of mini Marksman are generally not recommended which makes sense because as a small guard you're likely to have higher shooting attributes anyway which brings us to the gold level this badge level requires a 94 3point rating and provides a significant boost to your make percentage in the middle of the green window the gold level is hitting at a 53% clip with no extra badges hot zones or boost it maintains a consistent 8% increase over the silver level for most of the green window Hall of Fame provides another decent jump about 7% better than gold and then Legend only sees a minimal bump over Hall of Fame and doesn't seem to be worth the investment by itself but those results were only for a 4-in height difference let's take a look at a Defender 7 in taller in this scenario bronze and silver levels of mini Marksman still appear to be somewhat insignificant but again as we get to the gold level we can see a similar boost as the last chart as we get to the Hall of Fame and Legend levels in this 7in scenario the make percentage increase starts to look more consistent at each badge level the legend level in this scenario sees an even higher make percentage at this timing when compared to the previous chart albe it only by a few per but nonetheless it's still better proving why mini Marksman can be a very deadly badge now gold is The Sweet Spot per se but with a 94 3point or mid-range rating required to unlock it it is still a hefty investment but if you're a 3 hunting guard you'll definitely want this on at least gold or higher depending on your play style now that is all we have for this badge test and if you found this video helpful don't forget to drop a like and comment down below which level of Mini Marksman you use thank you all for watching it's Ben spill and I'm out later
