what's good everybody SP booy here and welcome to another NBA 2K lab badge test in this quick video we'll be covering the break starter badge to find out which level is the most effective and which level you need for different play Styles we keep these videos short and to the point with no ads so if you enjoy the content a like or subscribe would be greatly appreciated but without further Ado let's get right into the video Break starter is a musthave badge for any big but the level you decide to Target can depend on your play style and just how often you throw the break I posted a poll to gauge the community's thoughts on break starter and a good majority voted gold as a sweet spot but oddly enough the comments said otherwise and a lot of people said that you need at least 93 pass accuracy for a Hall of Fame break starter to be effective but let's dive into the actual numbers to test break starter we grabbed a defensive rebound and threw the break once the receiver crossed half court and then we recorded the clean catches we did this 200 times and here's the results starting with no badge having no break starter still had a clean catch rate of 58% and then surprisingly enough bronze wasn't a huge upgrade with only a 3% better clean catch rate as we get to Silver though we can see a clean catch rate of 67% so two out of three passes in this scenario will be caught cleanly now I like the silver level for value and it's also a good threshold for sabonis pass style which is a great low-end pass style this silver badge level is suitable for just about any build as we get to gold break starter we can see a clean catch rate of nearly 75% and it's the biggest jump from any badge level making this a great sweet spot for Bigs who want good Outlet passes without breaking the bank but while the numbers say Hall of Fame is only 4% better the pass Styles unlocked by getting to this threshold and Beyond are worth it as well and then Legend break starter has an unreal clean catch rate of 85 5% and as a big if you're trying to get assist on the break I think you'll see the best results by going with the hall of fame or Legend levels gold is still a great threshold if you want mostly good passes you just won't get the pass Styles needed to be a little bit more effective ultimately I really like silver for value and I make sure to have at least silver when I'm making a build with decent rebounding now bronze and no badge didn't show great results and aren't recommended and that is all we have for this break starter badge test if you found this video helpful or informative don't forget to drop a like thank you all for watching it's been spill and I'm out later
