what is good everybody this is Spill and in this video we're going to be looking at the best shooting settings to help you green more consistently in NBA 2k 25 we tested all the shot timing profiles from low risk to high risk we tested the new custom visual cues and last but not least the meter vers no meter boost Allin one video so if you want to learn how to shoot better this video is for you so make sure to subscribe turn those notifications on because we're going to be dropping a ton of NBA 2K 25 content you will not find anywhere else now first things first you should always turn your shop meter off we tested the meter met on versus the meter off and to no one's surpris shooting with your meter off will be the way to go in 2K 25 looking at the chart you can see almost a 20% boost in the middle of the green window while the edges of the green window see a slight boost as well so definitely learn to shoot without your meter as soon as possible turning your shot meter off will be the best thing to help you green your shot and to do this you have to go to your my player Tab and then go to your animations once you get there go to customize HUD at the top right and then go to shot meter shots from there just change your visibility for shots to off and this will immediately give you a Big Boost to your jump shots the next thing you'll want to do is go back to the categories and in that customized tab go to shop feedback once you get there we recommend turning your visibility option to all shots this will give you all the shot feedback like in past 2ks with coverage and distance with the option to customize it individually the default option which is simple doesn't show anything besides your timing but the one positive is that it does have instant green releases and then we have shot timing profiles this is a new feature that 2K added this year that essentially allows you to hit whites at the expense of a pure green window but while being able able to hit white sounds good having a pure green window will be better for more skilled players NBA 2K has the exact definition for these shot timing profiles on their court side report which says take advantage of the new shot timing profiles that allows you to customize and weigh the risk versus reward of your shot timing low risk low reward shots provide more forgiving shot timing and emphasize taking smart shots while high-risk High reward shots reward skilled players by making a higher volume of difficult shots if they're able to master the timing now I'm going to tell you right away that you should eventually look at using High high risk and here's why because on low risk you can see these gray bars on the chart represent white makes while the green bars represent the green makes on this chart you can see that even timing your shot correctly only has about a 50% chance to go in but everywhere else even with very bad timing can still result in a make at around a 40% clip when it comes to normal risk reward the make percentages get slightly higher but we do start to see a wider green window this setting still has a good amount of RNG involved and the whites are still going in but there's still a slight boost for timing your shot correctly but then lastly we have the high risk High reward option and this option will be the one people use the most looking at the chart we can see the pure green window at 100% make at that 660 millisecond timing the green window is also about 60 milliseconds wide with the middle edges of 650 and 680 hitting around a 60% clip here you can see the three different shooting profiles in this graph which clearly shows the green Windows of each setting and this highrisk High reward option most resembles the way shooting was in 2K 24 and is recommended for the best chance to Green a shot in 2K 25 lastly we looked at the visual cues and the custom visual cues which are going to help you customize your exact release Point there's now 100 notches on your custom visual Q slider in the jump shot Creator and this will help you pinpoint exactly where you want your release point to be but just note that when making new jumpers we found that release points like jump set point push and release will be spaced out for different Customs now that is all I have for the shot settings video I hope this helps everyone green just a little bit more and if you found this video informative or helpful don't forget to drop a like it's been spill and I'm out later
