Connect a Controller to Test
Connect Your Controller via Bluetooth or USB
Follow these steps to connect your Xbox or PlayStation controller to your phone.
Xbox Controller
- 1. Turn On Your Controller: Press the Xbox button to power on your controller.
- 2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the Pairing button on the top of the controller until the Xbox button starts flashing rapidly.
- 3. Open Bluetooth Settings on Your Phone:
iOS: Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. - 4. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
- 5. Locate the Controller: Look for “Xbox Wireless Controller” in the list of available devices.
- 6. Pair the Controller: Tap on “Xbox Wireless Controller” to pair it with your phone. Once connected, the Xbox button will remain lit.
PlayStation Controller
- 1. Turn On Your Controller: Press the PlayStation (PS) button to power on your controller.
- 2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the Share and PS buttons simultaneously until the light bar starts flashing rapidly.
- 3. Open Bluetooth Settings on Your Phone:
iOS: Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. - 4. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
- 5. Locate the Controller: Look for “Wireless Controller” in the list of available devices.
- 6. Pair the Controller: Tap on “Wireless Controller” to pair it with your phone. Once connected, the light bar will remain lit.
If you are using the tool through a computer browser you can connect your controller with a USB cable.
