what is good everybody and welcome to the NBA 2K lab Channel my name is Spill and in this video we'll be taking a look at the Shifty shooter badge and go over the Boost you receive at each badge level there's a lot of good information in here you don't want to miss so be sure to watch the entire quick video if you're new to the channel don't forget to subscribe and then let's get right into it the Shifty shooter badge improves a player's ability to successfully make off the- dribble High difficulty jump shots now fading this year is really good in the mid-range and corner 3es but the reason for this is because we found a pure green window when fading in the mid-range with an 85 radius which means if you know how to time your shot correctly you can hit just about all of your shots in this scenario and for this particular video we're going to be focusing on the Shifty shooter boost exclusively in the mid-range now for this test we took 200 moving shots with turbo for every 10 milliseconds throughout the green window we did this at each badge level and without the badge at a consistent 85 mid-range rating to get a better idea of each boost now looking at the chart you can see the pure green window I mentioned at 800 millisecs even without the badge which just goes to show that fading will be pretty good again in 2K 25 but which level should you target to get the most bang for your buck bronze gives a slight boost but the silver level looks to offer a pretty solid upgrade which makes a lot of sense because it is the cut off for a lot of builds especially if you're taller or with a higher Wings spin there's going to be a lot less builds with gold Shifty shooter at least initially because of that 91 mid-range or three-point requirement but this is where you'll see the most noticeable boost out of all the badge levels and since we tested each of these badge levels at an 85 mid-range rating the gold level shows a crazy boost and looks to be a great Sweet Spot in terms of Effectiveness Hall of Fame and legends still provide a considerable boost but on top of that these badge levels also shine when it comes to opening up your pure green window Hall of Fame and Legend Shifty shooter both have a pure green window of 8 milliseconds in this testing scenario which is 6 milliseconds wider than no badge Silver and Gold Have a pure green window of 5 milliseconds and then bronze with 4 milliseconds now the Shifty shooter badge looks to be solid this year and if you're fading or utilizing these types of shots you should at least Target the silver and gold levels if you can use your max plus one to get this badge from silver to gold you should see the most noticeable boost in terms of overall effectiveness Hall of Fame and Legend are still really and they open up the edges of the green window a good amount but the value in terms of the attributes spent to acquire it may not be worth it most players now that is all we have for part one of the Shifty shooter badge test if you found this video helpful or informative be sure to drop a like thanks for watching it's Ben spill and I'm out later
